At ELEQTRION, we are thrilled to announce a pivotal milestone in our journey toward advancing sustainable energy solutions. Thanks to the generous support from the Centre québécois de recherche et de développement de l’aluminium (CQRDA), in collaboration with the École de technologie supérieure, we have received a significant grant under the Research Project Support Program (PSO-v2b) of the Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie du Québec (MEIE).
This funding will propel the continued optimization of critical components of our Aluminum-Ion battery technology—a solution that is gaining recognition for its simplicity, fire safety, exceptional performance, and sustainability. By prioritizing the use of locally sourced materials, we are not only reducing environmental impact but also reinforcing Quebec’s position as a leader in innovation and energy storage.
As emphasized by Gilles Déry, CEO of CQRDA, “In the current geopolitical context, it is important to see innovation and intellectual property emerge in Quebec.” At ELEQTRION, we share this vision and are proud to contribute to Quebec’s growing reputation as a hub for cutting-edge technologies in energy storage and e-mobility.
We extend our deepest gratitude to CQRDA and the MEIE for their belief in our mission and for supporting the development of a greener, safer, and more sustainable future. Together, we are taking significant steps toward revolutionizing energy storage and mobility solutions.
