With over 30 years of executive and technical leadership in advanced energy and high-tech manufacturing, Mr. Wrightsman brings extensive expertise in battery technology, critical minerals recovery, innovation, and sustainable supply chains.
Mr. Wrightsman’s distinguished career includes transformative leadership roles at ReElement Technologies, the Battery Innovation Center (Indiana), and EnerDel. His notable achievements include:
- Helping scale ReElement Technologies’ innovative critical minerals recovery platform from R&D to pre-production alongside pilot customer establishment.
- Assisted in the formation. and founding Chair, of the Indiana EV Products Commission, significantly influencing statewide workforce development and transformation, alongside thought leadership for U.S. electric vehicle policy.
- Driving substantial revenue growth and international recognition for the Indiana Battery Innovation Center through revitalized programs and new innovation industry focus.
- Providing expert guidance to Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Department of Transportation (DOT), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) on emerging battery safety standards.
- Board member of National Alliance for Advanced Technology Batteries (NAATBatt), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), Lithium Bridge (Li-Bridge), and other national and international battery initiatives; supporting next generation battery collaboration, innovation, training, safety, and policy.
