We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Nathan Hostettler has joined ELEQTRION’s team as Head of R&D and Sourcing. Dr. Hostettler is a graduate of McGill University, where he completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to his doctorate, he was the Chief Technology Officer at Comppair technologies Inc. where he led the development of sustainable self-healing composites. He also has a Master’s degree in Material science and Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland.
Dr. Hostettler’s latest research focused on understanding the conductivity of graphene-based composite system to develop self-sensing composite materials. He has published multiple peer-reviewed papers in top-tier journals, such as Composite Science and Technology or Carbon.
Dr Hostettler will lead the development of cutting-edge Aluminum Ion energy storage solutions for the stationary energy storage and the E-Mobilities industries. He will collaborate with ETS and other researchers and engineers to advance the state-of-the-art in Aluminum Ion energy storage and contribute to the commercially viable products.
We are very excited to have Dr. Hostettler on board and look forward to working with him on challenging and impactful projects and products.
